SIMNET Acquires Scaleforce, Expanding DevOps Capabilities and European Cloud Presence

Whitby, Ontario – October 22, 2025 — SIMNET, a leading provider of high-performance cloud, security, and managed services, today announced the acquisition of Scaleforce, an innovative DevOps and cloud hosting company with data centers in Cyprus and Amsterdam.

This strategic acquisition marks a major milestone in SIMNET’s mission to help organizations accelerate growth and maintain simple, secure operations. Scaleforce’s edge computing and DevOps expertise perfectly align with SIMNET’s vision to deliver decentralized, sovereign cloud solutions for mission-critical workloads. The move adds new compute zones in Cyprus and the Netherlands, enhancing SIMNET’s ability to deliver secure, high-performance infrastructure at global scale for both channel partners and end-users including SMEs, large enterprises, SaaS providers, and ISVs who demand reliable, high-performance cloud solutions without headaches.

“We adopted platform-as-a-service and began working with DevOps experts, which wasn’t one of our core strengths,” said Ted de Vos, Founder & President of SIMNET. “After a year of partnership, the synergy was clear—Scaleforce was the right fit to lead our cloud experience and strengthen our DevOps capabilities. Their founder will now serve as Head of Cloud Experience at SIMNET.”

The acquisition brings seven staff, a significant portfolio of enterprise workloads, with data centers in Cyprus and Amsterdam providing disaster recovery to each other. Cyprus operates a full channel model, where telcos resell the platform, while Amsterdam offers hosting for hosters—aligning with SIMNET’s shift toward channel-focused and self-serve offerings.

Integration & Synergy:
The acquisition is seamless, with no learning curve for SIMNET’s support or operations teams due to compatible tech stacks and processes. “It’ll take some networking to validate connectivity,” said de Vos. “But as far as the app stack and tech stack, my team already knows how to support it. That’s a big win.”

Prior to this acquisition, SIMNET had clients in the E.U., U.K., and France, but those were Canadian companies expanding abroad. This marks SIMNET’s first true European base, and the company will be layering on sales and marketing to build out its presence.

Channel & Growth Focus:
SIMNET is committed to the channel, with a future focused on MSPs, ISvs, VARs, and resellers. The acquisition opens new opportunities for partners and strengthens SIMNET’s position as a premium specialty cloud platform. The acquisition aligns with SIMNET’s aggressive growth projections, bringing international expansion supported by new points of presence and enhanced CDN/ADN capabilities.

Innovation & Differentiation:
Ted de Vos’s philosophy is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: technology should empower, not intimidate. “Too many businesses are driven by fear—fear of change, fear of failure, fear of complexity,” he says. “At SIMNET, we lead with hope. We show clients what’s possible when you remove the fear and put control back in their hands.”

Traditional cloud providers often delivered sluggish infrastructure, convoluted service models, and opaque support experiences. SIMNET was built to be the opposite: fast, transparent, secure, and relentlessly customer-focused. The company’s goal is not merely to provide cloud services, but to set a new standard in the industry.

With global Points of Presence in key locations—including Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, London (UK), the European Union (EU), Dallas, New Jersey, Mumbai, Sydney, Cyprus, and Amsterdam—SIMNET delivers low-latency, high-reliability services across continents. Its commitment to excellence has earned the trust of major clients, many with global deployments, including Polaris Transportation, Prophix, Signifi, State, Local, and Federal Governments, and Community Savings Credit Union.

About SIMNET
SIMNET is the culmination of Ted de Vos’s vision for what cloud computing should have been from the start: fast, secure, human-centric, and fully self-serve. With global compute zones across the AMER, EMEA, and APAC, SIMNET empowers organizations to grow with confidence. SIMNET’s customer-first mindset fuels innovation and agility in a rapidly evolving industry.
